On the side, I work as a freelance filmmaker, video editor, graphic designer, and motion graphics artist. Also, I occasionally will provide web production and still photography services to select clients.
My last job was Multimedia Producer for the San Francisco bureau of The Wall Street Journal where I shot, edited, produced, and published video content for the website and newspaper QR code links. Since then I have occasionally worked for them on a freelance basis.
In filmmaking news, I'm currently in pre-production on a short entitled Shepherd’s Gate and in post-production on a feature comedy sci-fi horror written and directed by a colleague. I spent summer 2018 on his crew as Assistant Director and Script Supervisor. In June 2018, we also screened an on-spec TV pilot that I co-directed in late 2017. Previously, my short suspense thriller film G.P.S.premiered in April 2014 at the Sonoma International Film Festival and in Los Angeles at the FirstGlance Film Festival and also played in September 2014 at the California Independent Film Festival in Moraga.
I also spent thirteen years in Hollywood before moving back home to the Bay Area. My major was Cinema-Television at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and I minored in Music Recording at the USC Thornton School of Music. I completed my bachelor's degree at USC in 2003 and I participated in the much-coveted summer college internship at Lucasfilm's Industrial Light + Magic in the summer of 2001. When I thought I was done with school, I decided to get my masters degree in Communication Management in 2010 at the USC Annenberg School where I also worked in the Multimedia Technologies department as a trainer, supervisor, and media producer for several years.
I currently reside in Clayton, California (in the East San Francisco Bay Area). I enjoy playing piano, guitar, and harmonica, swing dancing, swimming, working out, watching my favorite sports teams (USC Trojans, San Francisco 49ers, and San Francisco Giants) and having as much fun with my family and friends as I can.
