Viral Videos & Collaborations
Sometimes the algorithm shows love. These hit.
The Wall Street Journal Video About… …My Dog
During my stint at The Wall Street Journal in 2013, I was tasked to pitch fun video ideas based on WSJ articles. I happened on one that talked about dog psychology and how canines express love for their owners. So, I decided to put our yellow labrador (at the time) named Violet to the test.
Eventually the video shot to the top five on the WSJ YouTube channel and stayed in the top ten for years. Millions of views, endless comments and engagement kept coming. The video still ranks high on the WSJ charts to this day.

THE YELLOWSTONE EFFECT
Yellowstone is a franchise of Paramount/CBS. I do not own the footage. But thanks to the nature of fair use and short form social media video platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, here are the fun edits…
These started as editing exercises—little moments that caught my eye. Next thing I knew, millions were watching.
⚠️ Warning: These clips are NSFW. Lots of F-bombs. Mostly from cowboys. And Beth Dutton does not hold back..
Martial Arts Cosplay VFX Collabs
With YouTube sensation Adam Pecoraro (1M+ subscribers)
Before my indie feature Three, I refined my VFX skills for viral martial arts cosplay videos. These projects were wild, creative, fast-paced—and racked up millions of views. It was scrappy, scruffy filmmaking at its most fun.
✅ Barney vs. Nerd – 6.9M views
✅ Spider-Man vs. Black Widow – 2.1M views
Bonus: We got one of those YouTube Gold Play Buttons when the channel hit 1M subscribers. I still have mine.
